It’s either the dumbest burglar of the quarter story or more evidence that criminals are afraid of the armed citizen. A homeowner returned home to find a burglar. The criminal, thinking the homeowner was armed, barricaded himself into the homeowner’s bathroom and called police to come get him.
It should be no surprise, but burglaries increase during Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year’s. Yet, relatively few people take extra precautions during this time.
