The Gabby Petito Case: Steve Kardian’s Insight

On September 22nd, Steve Kardian, Founder of Defend University, appeared as a guest in an expert panel on the Dr. Phil Show discussing the Gabby Petito case. Steve spoke of the difficulties that a couple might encounter when living in such close quarters over an extended time. Steve believes law enforcement should have been monitoring Brian Laundry very closely. He shouldn't have been able to leave his house without being surveilled.

Dr. Phil also asked Steve if he believed her death was intentional. Steve believes her death was deliberate. He went on to share a piece of knowledge he gained from his years in law enforcement that every woman should know: When a man wants to control a woman, he's going to hit her or choke her. Choking someone is an attack that comes from pure rage, and if something terrible happened to her, she likely was choked.

Steve stated, “Many women have been reported missing; I only wish that all of them could receive the attention Gabby's case received.”
